Good Morning Owl.
And to you too Fox.

What a chill I got from your experiences in the final moments of your paliative care patients.
I have listened to a Nurse on YouTube share her 30 year career on witnessing, and very similar to you.

She is aware of another dimension that exists, or opens up, in those moments before leaving this Earth.
I have listened to many Near Death Experience accounts on YouTube from all around the world., that
all share very similar experience. Makes it too hard to refute!!

And I'd like to share with you this.

I went home from the hospital when mum finally collapsed after not eating for weeks.
The doctor told me it was close (death).

I went home on the couch and fell asleep.

In the morning I was awaoken by what felt like a gust of strong wind blow across my face.

Then a few minutes later the phone rang.

It was the doctor telling me mum had passed.

Two years ago in a hotel room, suicidal.
Kicked out of home and drinking 2 litres of Vodka a day over 4 days.
Full of Shame, Fear, Anger (at myself) and pain.

I fell to my knees, screamed out to God (for the first time for help) and my Mother for help.
The only other time I directly called out to God was when I denounced him for taking her.

And today I am certain that they both answered my prayers.
There IS something more to this life that goes far beyond the material.

And so when all was stripped away, and I was in the darkness of my own being, I realized
that it was not my house, my car, my investment property, my ipad, my this mt that....that I
desperately yearned for.

It was my wife. My children. My simple, taken for granted experiences.
And I have all of those back, along with a different view of this life.

Does that mean I do not want to acquire financial freedom and wealth?

Of course not.

But my MOTIVE, and its INTENTION, like IMU-- is far from self serving.

And that is why I invest, why I care, and why I shall never take the simple things
for granted ever again.
