As I watch the share price tumble from recent highs I wonder what is happening behind closed doors at IMU. I am reading all the unhappy posts on the TA thread, including my own and then remind myself of the pain I went through with many others on VLA. This is a hold to wait and see as nothing fundamentally has changed in my view.

I have placed my tin foil hat onto my crystal ball and have come up with a pie in the sky theory that an offer was made unofficially and then rejected. Revised and also rejected. Now all they can do is either show their hand to the market and offer a price or drive the price down so people panic sell. Merck comes to mind as I think fattchoi also commented on this. I think Axel was the first pawn to go in this battle behind closed doors as a show of strength and now the price is being driven down so LC is bombarded with emails from pitch fork owners.

i would be interested in hearing others thoughts on this topic and hopefully bringing the comments over to this thread so the TA folk can keep their threads tidy enough to follow.
