Doesn`t quite work that way. The big guns don`t or won`t get involved in greenfields projects. Most don`t like to get down and dirty and will enter later on if the drill is successful.
The difference between (80c) approx 110 mill MC or paying 4 x that for a certaintity is nothing for them. That way they don`t have dozens upon dozens of exploratory projects around the world and only get involved with relatively sure fire projects. In a nutshell they are not really explorers anymore rather just producers. I may stand corrected and probably Jeffo or the like can explain it in more detail.
