One would need to consider the depth of the market that is prepared to pay $0.88 to buy. A few buyers may be prepared to pay $0.88 but will a takeover of the majority of the shares go ahead at $0.88?
Nevertheless, the paranoid shareholder will be asking the question: "Are the directors looking after my best interests or are they selling me down the drain in order to look after their own interests?"
