re: rubgy league, lock of the week I was given a red card for posting "2+2=2" on the BQT forum. (meaning 2 prisons plus 2 prisons is still only 2 prisons)
One of the moderators (who holds BQT) said the post has been removed because it was too short and off topic, so I posted a message on the thread "how can we make squarescene better for you".......my suggestion was "stop over moderating" !!

This objective post was removed within seconds, followed by some badgering from Matt (minnion) on the PM email system........in which I told him the only thread worth posting on was "rugby league lock of the week" !!!
Squarescene responded by giving me the boot,........totally over the top reaction to some overdue critisism of the way they smother objective opinion.
I was extremley supportive of Squarescene because Hotcopper and Ozestocks had no moderation to speak of, but as the forum matured they slowly crippled healthy debate and turned it into a geeks club.

I started a thread called "2005 picks of the year" we had over 260 entries and people wanted to get right behind it, but Squarescene refused to back it up.....for what ever reason ? To me that was the beginning of the end.......now that Hotcopper has a mild form of moderation, I'm happy to post here ;-)

"rubgy league lock of the week" has found a new home.....and it's one of the best threads going !!
