@J8; in early February when Morrison and Dutton required expats from China to be quarantined for 14 days on Christmas Island and those from the Diamond Princess docked in Japan to do likewise in Darwin I thought there was a chance Australia could prevent the entry of Covid-19.

It soon became apparent to many people, including the HIV-AIDS el supremo, Bill Bowtell, that bans on travel with China and Iran needed to be extended to other countries and especially as a matter of urgency to the USA, South Korea and Italy.

But from early February to March 20th [ie. 6 weeks] Morrison's government steadfastly REFUSED to extend travel bans until after Tom Hanks and Peter Dutton confessed to having been to the USA and entering Australia with Covid-19. The pandemic had already gained a foothold.

Most recently and with Dutton still MIA, Morrison boasted that his government was ahead of the game and summoning a National Cabinet including himself and state Premiers to convene to ensure coordinated action throughout Australia. But then we learned about the Ruby Princess and four other cruise ships and the release of 2,700 passengers exposed to Covid-infected people directly into Sydney.

Now Morrison and Tehan are working overtime to force public school kids onto crowded buses, into crowded classrooms and into crowded corridors even though private schools have already closed and many parents have already withdrawn their kids from school..

What's happened since early February has unnecessarily exposed Australians to Covid-19.
