Stopping aid to Indonesia will not stop one boat. Why should they be influenced by a threat?
They will probably encourage the asylum seekers to leave and head to Australia by boat.
Maybe the low level of asylum seekers we see know is a direct result of the aid we give.
More aid = less by boat
less aid = more by boat
That game can be played both ways.
Simple Lib plans for a complicated problem will not work.
