Gee it really must have been a rude shock. Maybe Red Kerry finally worked out that the pathetically immature ideas that appealed to the masses at the poll really were just there for sucker votes. Now with the aid of retrospect they were at the time only useful as a talking point and heart warming exercise to make struggling Aussies feel like life was going to get better.
