You are right about the Luck.

I have a friend who was not in the same situation as Australia when GFC hit.

He had to sell any equity he had in his house at low doc.loan rates so he could survive.

The money is spent and now he has a huge debt on huge
interest.

I can't see him getting out of his predicament any time in the distant future. He is and will be struggling for years maybe decades.

We had no debt,all thou we took a big hit financial, we didn't need to borrow.

I see him as being GREECE.

And my family AUSTRALIA

Luck was not involved.

We have taken another hit from Rudd in the Resources share market just now.

I wonder how many of his relations and friends sold all of their resources stocks before the announcement.
