towie,
What you believe, and what is there are obviously 2 different things. Go check it out yourself. I've given you the location.
Actually, I've had numerous similar incidents at 3 different police stations, where 1) the officers were being lazy (lost property, corner flinders lane / swanston street); 2) they were being uncooperative and unwilling to help (in regards to questions about theft and prevention which neighbourhood watch directed me to the police for "more info", heidelburg police station); 3) they were just being plain rude (in regards to a hit and run incident, doncaster police station).
head2641,
Sure would. Not every copper's job is "hard". Traffic cop, desk cop, etc... what's so hard about it? Sure homicide and detective work may be dangerous, but only a small part of the police force is involved in that stuff. The majority are involved in civil affairs such as documentation, traffic, crowd control, etc.
mistyrains,
Hard to believe? So you admit there is a problem that you're in denial? You said you would verify by calling them up. Why are you backtracking?
