Conservatives are so-called because, having made something of their lives, they have a vested interest in conserving it.
The "right wingers" on HC are defending what they've got.
The leftists want everything shared; particularly that which isn't theirs.
Thus Conservatives contribute whereas Leftists distribute and dilute.
