The resource exploration rebate may (RER) may support very well some small companies like BUY. That super profit tax is a blow on the big ones, not the likes of BUY, that don't make super profits (yet) imo. From an article about the geothermal sector:
"The changes would be particularly beneficial to smaller companies which under existing rules do not get a tax benefit from deductible exploration expenses until they become profitable."
