That was the impression that I got also with the lingering "extreme-close-ups" of the somehow stunned into silence questioner...
It seemed somewhat rehearsed and set up and Rudd looked more like performing a prepared script rather than responding off the cuff...
Rudd's response of course makes him a hero to a few leftie simpletons and ratbags but most people with any brains will just dismiss it as opportunistic grandstanding at best and probably just as Rudd's normal smoke-and-mirrors playacting...
