Back about 20 or 25years ago. I was working for a Company doing a small electrical job.
And there was a lady writing, at the time writing the local history about the area and this wee beautiful church in the office.
Which was about to be relocated. And having lived in the area for sometime, this lady, a paid HISTORIAN, an ex school teacher, ask what I thought about what she had just completed, the history of the area and this wee church.
I read. And then told her she was completely wrong about this church !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
And her answer, I can clearly remember it today, as it was a total shock to me was,
'I doesn't matter, I have just written a good story and it WILL BE HISTORY, and then people will quote the book in about 10 years time, as it is real, it is history NOW.'
