Blaming a PM or minister for the behaviour and actions of contractors to govt is just nonsense.
I'm surprised at the number of people who endorse such a view.
How a PM or minister can be blamed for putting a 16 year old into a ceiling under a tin roof in a Brisbane summer is beyond me.
The contractor who inspected the ceiling cavity in the 70 year old house i lived in refused to put the batts in because of the possible danger from electrical fires. Other contractors clearly weren't so ethical.
The pink batts scheme successfully provided a short term fillip to the economy at a time of extreme pressure on the global economy, helping australia to avoid the recession and depression that hit most other countries.
Oh, and i'm still waiting for all the home owners who had the batts installed to come forward and whinge about them. Lets face it, the batts work.
