It't no secret that many power utilities companies in Australia struggles to meet demand during peak periods.
Wouldn't this be a great way of reducing the problem.
The reason why the rebate was brought in was to help the environment. Now Rudd is making it a political issue.
If all the rich take up the offer (if they could), the bottom line is that it will be great for the environment and will take pressure off the untilities and enable big business to expand and not be restricted by power shortages.
Time to wake up Krudd.
