I just hope someone out there saves us from this madness.
I'm sick of hearing that the Great Barrier reef is going to be gone in 20-30 years, or that the alpine region of Aus is going to disappear.
Maybe those things will happen, maybe they won't.
Maybe CO2 causes above-natural warming, and maybe it doesn't. I don't know and I don't really worry about it as it is out of our control.
But Australia's emissions are NOTHING compared to current and projected world wide emissions. Without coordinated, world-wide measures backed up with hard science I cannot see a solution.
I cannot help but suspect that once again, Australia is being used as a guinea pig in an experiment to see how this ets will pan out.
A bit like the deregulation of labour markets, finance and removal of tariffs etc. ahead of any of our overseas competitors.
Is it all a conspiracy to hold Australia down and use us as a test scheme by the faceless UN mandarins??
