And likewise, Gillard could resign if her leadership is challenged.
And I doubt Rudd would want to lose his cushy foreign ministeral job - one would think he has motivation for labor to stay in power for another couple of years.
But I think Gillard would be quite capable of resigning and taking labor down with her if she loses her PMship. Perhaps she has labor over a barrel.
