Virtually the entire Ministry has come out to "smash" Rudd. They don't need to do that. They could remain silent. Their criticism has been intensely personal. If Rudd won a ballot virtually the entire ministry would resign. Rudd's numbers are so poor I don't think he'll even contest the leadership.
