I'm from mixed background but I am absolutely sick of Australia becoming a free ride for all the 3rd world nations. We are harming our society and our prosperity when we let in people who aren't compatible or can't contribute to our country. You can't just take someone from a war torn country and bring them to paradise and expect them to fit in. When do we stop? Their countries of origin are getting no better, so do we continue to keep accepting people. It's a death by a thousand cuts.
I picture Australia and the western world a very different place in 100 years. A country can't run being on welfare, and it won't run if there's disharmony. It's happening throughout the world now. When a majority feels threatened, there becomes disunity. Sadly, Australia won't act till it's too late.
Finally, have seen no other motivation or propensity from other cultures to better humanity. All the technology in the world has come from the west and it's science. You dilute the western culture and society, and you go backwards.
