In order for Labor to give a good showing at the election she needs to resign, not to be challenged and lose to Rudd or whoever.
I hope the hierarchy understand this and encourage it.
Rudd then 'relunctantly' takes over.
But if they stay on current course Julia will destroy the ALP at the election...at least with Rudd he can minimise the loss, or even win with a small miracle behind him.
