Assuming he's PM again Rudd should:
1. hammer how well Aust is traveling viz it's peers 2. explain point by point our debt and deficits, how and why, and how it compares favorably viz our peers 3. explain the NBN will be demolished by the other side 4. repeat point 3 as the NBN is a major vote winner 5. admit he stuffed up Howard's border policy and return to it (mug punters love a born again type admitting his faults) 6. announce a non evasive review into union transparency and accountability (to offset any Tony campaign on this issue) 7. Smile a lot. Rudds smile is more infectious than Tonys.
The theme of the campaign is we are traveling well, we are born again and Rudd is likeable.
