Hi Dave R have stayed out of this discussion ( Partly due to suspension ) This So Called Rent Resource Tax on our miners . What amount collected will be wasted on the Departments Public Servants ETC to set it all up ( Maybe another minister ETC ) If they were fair dinkum they would be looking at ways to keep these extra profits from the mining boom in Australia. There is enough room in the Tax System to reward those overseas companies when they put that money back into the Australian Economy and keep it in Australia. Rudd has wasted the surplus and is now looking at ways to claw back his overspending and misguided handouts Cheers Towie.
