Of course it is better to tackle the root causes in this case.
It is completely obvious that the root cause of islamaphobia is islamic terrorism.
Once the members of the islamic community actively and agressively weed out those few from their ranks that support, condone and enable islamic terrorist,there will be no more islamaphobia.
That is of course if you accept that such a thing as islamaphobia exists outside the minds of a few with a political agenda to push.
