On the 7:30 Report tonight Leigh Sales persisted in trying to get Kevin Rudd to talk about his aspirations to return as PM.

True to his promise, Rudd commented about Tony Abbott's recent performance. In this case he castigated Abbott for using the occasion of the US President's inaugural address to the Australian Parliament to post cheap domestic political points.

It was a sickening, long-winded, self-promotional & self-indulgent exercise by Abbott - absolute cringe material!

In contrast last night on Lateline Julie Bishop's performance was spot on. Time to step up to the plate Julie & rid us of Abbott the rabid attack dog.
