    im am not 100% sure about this and someone else will probably pull me up but -

    rudd and his merry band are not entitled to sign anything that relates to the australian people or affairs that affect same.

    the reason is that the oath they expressed at the signing in, was different to the oath outlined in the constitution and to my knowledge there has not been a referenum to seek to change it and the governor general is within his right to refuse to sign anything rudd places before him. this applies to howard as well.

    so in effect rudd is still not prime minister of this country
