Unless MPs are independent, they are members of a political party.
In the end, the majority of the population elects one party (except in the case of the coalition where there's a mutual agreement) which will govern the country and represent its people in Parliament and in international affairs.
You've voted for whoever you voted, knowing that s/he was a member of a party or was an Independent.
That person will represent you and those others who have voted for him/her, according to the rules of our Constitution.
