I can tell you that I have an email from Martin Ferguson that is a good read about the govt being behind CTL/GTL developement.

As for CTL/GTL developement in South Australia the govt is already behind hybrid energy/Futurgas in the South East of the state. As for funding I think it will come as the govt have committed themselves to advancing this industry.
