Go to HK a lot but China and the new territories only on occasion so haven't seen the latest developement there yet.
No issues with the work ethic,one has to work to make a living,not much in the way of social security available.
I think Dobe may well be correct,things looking less likely for an agreement between Telstra and the government as time drags by.
