"How about boosting the aid to the Australian Victims of the floods, cyclones, homeless, domestic voilence, etc Mr Rudd."
Aussies in need don't seem to matter when Rudd wants more spending money to supposedly make himself look good on the world stage.
On the back of a recent Reader's Digest, there is an ad by The Smith Family titled, "We're facing a crisis on our own doorstep" where they explain that there approx 619,000 disadvantaged kids in Australia which they had sourced from the ABS 2009.
There is an enormous amount of very needy Australians, but it seems that billions are readily thrown away overseas.
I hear the arguments that the libs also gave aid, however, the big difference is they could afford to do so with a surplus. Labor has not only spent the surplus, but now has this country in debt.
Labor lumped a levy onto many of us because Ms Gillard didn't have a big pile of money. But is seems she always has plenty when Rudd puts his hand out for more.
