I had felt the oposite originaly, but feel now that you are probably correct.

With respect to your other comment about brainwashing it is hard to fathom. I am a conservative and proud to admit it. I don't think of myself as either left or right.

I'll criticise poor policy or decision making when I see it.

I have two older siblings who are rusted on Labor voters and it is near on impossible to have a rational debate on politics with them. And to be absolutely, brutely frank about them they have been two of lifes failures and now live off benefits. Their entitlement attitude is all pervasive.

When I reflect on it I become morose, because it has nothing to do with our upbringing its just that they are bone lazy.
