    been there and done that, banjar. Spent most of life in libraries and am surrounded by books. Never have I seen, even in the most appalling regurgitation of the many many white lies, the phrase, "it wasn't the government..."
    Who was it that stole the generations of aboriginal children? Who was it that built concentration camps (I had been to one of them in Lakes Entrance, in vic, in the 60s) solely for the Indigenous people? Who was it that had declared and or agreed with an eradication program in Tassie?
    But I won't go on because the history of Oz is short but clogged with events of blood thirst against the first aussies.

    Like I said, let's just drop it.
