LouL, you ARE racist! You refuse to look at the issue in its entirety and select only the bits that will give you the excuse you need to stay a racist and to stay in the state of poverty and lack of success you're in now. This is your excuse for not "making it" into the "big time," into the society. You've obviously heard the fully story many times before and you must obviously know that you can find it written up and explained most thoroughly in many places -but you've refused to accept it or to even think about it. So I won't go through it here for you. It would be one more useless exercise, so far as you're concerned. You prefer to moan and groan about the pitiful "taxes" that have been used to try and improve the lot of one of the most important group of Australians. Taxes that have been wasted by a burgeoning whitefella officialdom rather than spent for the good of that group. So far, all we've seen from the various govnt's is meanness and trickiness. Vulgar little tokens and "symbolic gestures" from which only whitefellas profitted.
You have received stolen land! Land which is soaked in the blood of its original owners! Land which is gained by the gun, by alcohol and by contagious diseases. Land gained by vile behaviour against its original inhabitants. Whether you feel guilty or not, whether you want to apologise or not it does not alter the fact that this govn't should do something to cleanse our collective conscience as a nation; and that something ought to be bloody good! Your precious taxes will not be affected in the slightest. They certainly need not do that. It can all be done by proper administration of current expenditure and the current collection of taxes. But I know, I've lost you way back from my first sentence, so I won't waste any more space on you!
