this is exactly the kind of arguement people who will benefit from the tax break will be up against
and it is a view held by about 80% of the Australian population which doesn't have enough to support themselves in retirement and is not likely ever to.
I feel sorry for people who sold businesses and investment properties to take advantage of this tax break
the market has tanked and they have lost at least 25% of their money
and now to top it off the tax break may not even be there for them anyway.
