I think you have lost the plot Bruce and are seeing life from a very narrow selfish perspective.
At some point you were born into this Country and you had NOTHING. The home you lived in, the water you drank, the road you drove home on were all provided by those who came before you. You went to a school you didn't build, were trained by teachers you did not pay, got a job in a structure set up and paid for years before you were even a thought, so on and so on.
If you worked 100 hours a week for the rest of your life you could never pay for what you were given for nothing by the generations who came before you.
At least you could show a bit of appreciation and respect. Maybe you could even pay a little back.
