The cruelty of some people,even to those they pretend to love is hard to comprehend.
A friend of my came home one night to find his house empty and his chidren and wife nowhere to be seen. Eight to ten years later his daughter turned up and then his son as they said they were desperate to find their father. It came about that the mother had moved interstate.
They are now reconciled to their father and have never forgiven their mother for her despicable act.
There was never any violence involved, just a wish to move interstate with a new partner.
Another mother moved interstate with her two children and their father later discovered that their 'new' father had previously been found guilty of paedophilia. The worry nearly killed the father.
This is not to say that ALL fathers are angels but in the past the divorce laws have been stacked against them.
