Probably all for the best at this time. Beazley is unelectable but apparently needs to fall on his fat ass one more time to prove it to an electorate that can't see past meaningless platitudes.
Beazley is barely identifiable as a labor politician though some might argue that labor is barely identifiable as a party of the people any more.
At any rate Rudd will have his day sooner or later and in my very humble view is labor's best hope at a PM.
