From my experience most Governments achieve more in their first term of government than what they do in any subsequent term.
I am yet to see this Rudd government achieve anything of substance in this term and in fact are defferring any likelihood of achievment out till 2012-2013.
Any person who lists avoiding recession as an achievement are dillusional as RBA stats shows us that we avoided the GFC due to the strong balance of savings we had prior to GFC (courtesy Howard/Costello) and China's continued demand for resources.
Any thing Rudd spent, whilst not 100% wasteful, certainly did not represent value for money and in many cases as per original post is now costing many more dollars fixing the problems the spending caused.
