This is no hard decision. This is a decision that plays right into the hands of refugee lobbyists and a few loud left wingers. But I'll tell you what's populist. Remaining coy on how the fire on the illegal boats occurred. All this bravado about not wanting to repeat children overboard is just a front to Rudd's own policy of allowing more of these illegal arrivals as part of an overall plan to look like a nice guy in the international community.
Maybe your right. Rudd can make hard decisions.......he didn't veto the latest parliamentary pay rise did he!
