Butcherboy, I think the ALP and Libs would be better off if Turnbull went to the ALP. Stephen Smith also looks like one of the best the ALP has. I am not sure if there is a precedent for a Lib member changing sides with the blessing of his party. To be honourable he should do it at the next election, not double cross his electorate who voted Liberal.
I am surprised you support the Greens over the Labs. The Greens have some pretty whacky ideas but I do acknowledge they are the only party who agree Australia needs some form of population policy. The anti semetic views of some of its reps are alarming.
