Anyone who has ever been on a Board knows that once a formal vote is taken on a subject and a resoultion passed, it becomes a board decision.

Ie. who voted which way prior to the reolution being taken, is now irrelevant. Consequently any individual board member who then complains about the way in which some people voted is way our of order, out of touch, and basically ignorant.

I know Cabinet is not a board, but I would expect the same rules to apply. It is just pure treachery on Rudd's part to comment on who said what, or how many voted a certain way.

There can only be one end to that kind of undermining. Any board member who got caught doing it would be out on his ear immediatley, - as he should be. The cabinet is unworkable if this goes on, because people will be afraid to speak their mind. In effect it hands absolute power to the Prime Minister.
