One of the biggest mistakes of Gillard was to assume that the electorate would appreciate the good policies (in the wider national interests) that she and her ministers were implementing and would support her government for that. That was a big failure in understanding inherent human nature, and that had well been reflected in her unpopularity and the poor polling of her government.
I hope Rudd will not repeat her mistakes.
I expect a small decrease in the 2PP for Labor in the next polls.
