You can not seriosuly beleive that goverment spin???
Pure and simple, its a far bigger tax take, and it WILL reduce Australian competitiveness. Australia will lose projects that would have happened were it not for this new tax. More money entrusted to be spent by a government that has clearly showed little aptitude for spending wisely.
And really what do you define as 'our resources', surely you can not stop at just mineral resources. And as the a article says 'What about trees, water, air, sunshine and fish?' So to be "fair" anyone making better than 6% in any sphere of business should then equally be obliged to pay a super tax as well.
