IF KRudds comercial loans goes ahead.....Then if a company is unsure if the loans on overseas properties are covered with the roll over plan, it would seem prudent to re-shuffle your loans for overseas portfolio to expire at the longest time you can and the loans on Aussie property expire in the shortest time.

For example, if you had 5 billion to be rolled over on all your portfolios, then you should really have the banks reshuffle the mortgages (for want of a better word) to reflect the major portion of short term expiry to roll over, being mortgaged to the Aussie property.

I probably have not explained this clearly but I think you get the idea. I believe that there is a mix of aussie and overseas banks on debt on property in Australia and vice versa.
