Head, I think you are referring to the current Collins Class submarines. What a debacle. I think only one of the six is working. These were made in Adelaide to a Swedish design. Australia still has to have any modification approved by the Swedes.

I tend to agree with Finnet that there should be some kerb on the pollies declaring war while they are feeling full of self importance. Giving low intelect pollies charge over such dangerous toys could be a mistake.
The pollies seem to have some inflated view of our importance and capabilities. Best they get the Pink Batts and Tuck shops right before unleasing our sub on the Chinese.
