At last mainstream Australians have a prospect of avoiding the cold-hearted, vindictive, extraordinarily divisive, dead hand of reactionary Toryism under a Tony Abbott autocracy.
We have a chance of avoiding Abbott's lazy, thoroughly discredited, counter-productive, slash-n-burn economic model that he steadfastly refuses to explain to mainstream Australians.
At long last the will of the Australian people has been restored to its rightful place so that Kevin Rudd has the chance to front them at an election and reveal to us the myths and distortions paraded as slogans by rabid Abbott.
The choice now is between the man who exterminated the Howard Govt., who sold us a vision of a more dynamic and sophisticated society and led us through the GFC versus a reactionary troglydite.
If Rudd leads Labor to victory at the election he will slay the dark side of union control over the party and banish the excesses of reactionary Torism to the electoral sewer.
Bring it on!
