I must say the concept of a 'foreign entity' being involved has crossed my mind. Potentially very unpalatable for a govt....but that said I don't think elections are for another couple of years!(?).
My understanding though is that Brazilian mining law / framework is very good / mature....could be wrong? I wasn't that inspired when a few months back one of the main newspapers (I think the SMH) had a story on the president...and last paragraph indicating that he was off to meet the head of CVRD for lunch / dinner.
Several posters a good while back were certainly very keen on the Manga story...we'll have to wait and see.
