I love the game, played it at a reasonable level (SG Ball) and have played another sport which is pretty brutal.
Having said that, I don't care if it is a shoulder or a hammer, hitting the head of an opponent (especially as it was targeted by a bid blokes who lined home up well and timed it great)is not on.
I would have sent him straight off.
If the tackle was aimed and landed at the chest, all good and would have been a great tackle.
Don't support either side but it was not on and should have been an early shower and weeks off to reflect.
My boy will not be playing league and NRL is worse off for how they handle this.
