The Wallabies will be without fullback Kurtley Beale for tonight's World Cup semi-final against the All Blacks in Auckland.

Beale, who strained his hamstring during last Sunday's 11-9 quarter-final win against South Africa, tweeted yesterday, ‘‘Thanks everyone for their support. Unfortunately been ruled out (sic). I’ve got faith in the boys who have got the opportunity."

Adam Ashley-Cooper will move to the fullback position, with Anthony Fainga'a promoted from the bench to outside-centre. Rob Horne, who fractured his cheekbone against the USA three weeks ago, joins the seven-man bench.

Fainga'a will reunite with Pat McCabe in the centres. The pair were instrumental in shutting down the All Blacks in the Wallabies' 25-20 win in the Tri Nations decider in Brisbane in August.
