The fact SKT is having to cut a deal with Premier Sports is further evidence of what I have increasingly being coming to believe, and that is that if you are not a global behemoth with an iconic brand & very deep pockets, your power lies not in the distribution mechanism or even in the content you hold, but rather in the established customer relationships - and SKT does not have them outside of NZ (and neither, it would appear, does Rugby Pass).
The irony in all of this (and on the massive silver lining) is that the same impetus that has driven SKT to Premier Sports, is what will continue to drive content creators to SKT (in the NZ market).
All in my opinion, and I may be wrong.
